* The 6-year-old son of Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp founder and chief executive Jonah Shacknai, has died from injuries suffered in an accident in his California home last week, two days before Mr. Shacknai's girlfriend was found dead at the same property.
* Casey Anthony has been released from a Florida jail, 12 days after she was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
* Borders Group inched closer to liquidation Sunday after a bidding deadline passed without offers that would keep the U.S.'s second-largest bookstore chain in business.
* The U.S. wireless industry is booming as more consumers and businesses snap up smartphones, tablet computers and billions of wireless applications.
